When I’m not teaching yoga, my bread and butter work for the past 10 years is branding design, specialising in packaging. Basically the stuff you see in the supermarket :) I’ve been working as a freelance designer with a few design studios for the past couple of years, which has allowed me to travel, and work whenever the opportunity has risen. I’ve also had a short stint as an English teacher in China and also as a tour leader in Europe. I also take photos. It’s something I love to do and share, and hopefully in the near future, I can merge my skills to earn a living from this...

Michelle Jones – Reiki Master & Reconnective Healing® Practitioner
Michelle Jones is a Reiki Master and Level III Reconnective Healing® Practitioner based in Sydney.
Michelle’s interest in energetic healing initially drew her to Reiki. Reiki had an overwhelmingly positive impact on her life and following many powerful experiences she went on to practice several streams. Michelle is an Usui Reiki Master and a Karuna and Joti Reiki Practitioner.
Seeking to expand her level of awareness and healing potential even further, Michelle then studied Reconnective Healing® after attending one of Dr Eric Pearl’s talks and healing demonstrations. Attracted by the simplistic, no-nonsense approach and power she became a Level III Reconnective Healing® Practitioner in 2005.
Michelle is also a Japanese speaker who has worked overseas and in corporate organizations in Australia. She holds degrees in Science (Biochemistry) and Asian Studies from the Australian National University.
Growing up in a pristine, natural environment had a strong spiritual influence on Michelle from an early age. Her interest in healing was sparked by the illness of a close friend.
Michelle hopes to share the experience of balance, calm and fulfilment that Reiki and Reconnective Healing® have brought to her life with others through her healing and teaching work.
